We are re-powering 2 31 Bertrams side by side with new Yanmar 6LP-STE, 315hp diesel motors. We are just doing the test fitting now. Check out the damage from Ethanol. That tank is stubborn! Nice new custom aluminum stringer caps in the boat for Bobby at G-Craft and on the Billfish. The two are similar years, but completely different stringer set-ups. Bobby is getting close, two are in! Just waiting on shafts for Bobby. On Billfish, we are cutting the new vents in the sides. Bobby is going in the water, and off for a sea trial! Bobby went 32 knots, but the wheels are a little heavy. He has taken the boat back to the G-Craft shop to finish the paint job and the fit-out. We'll keep posting pics as we get them from Bobby. Billfish is getting a new fuel tank, and spraying in the vents in the sides. This is the finished in vents on the Billfish. Now, she is on her way for sea trials.
